Role Description

Assist the current Program Director with the creation or download of the daily shows and editing of content for Bicoastal Media with an emphasis on broadcast quality audio content.


  • High School diploma (or equivalent).
  • Minimum two years professional experience producing content for a media outlet, team, league, school,
    or agency w/published work.
  • Experience with Broadcast Automation systems.
  • Fully competent with Microsoft Office Products and strong computer skills.
  • Excellent communication and oratory skills.
  • Experience producing written work.
  • Experience in publishing content to the Internet.
  • Ability to meet deadlines on short notice.
  • Strong proofreading and keyboarding skills.
  • Experience with Adobe suite of programs (Photoshop, Premier, Audition etc.) a plus.


High school diploma.


  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to bend and stoop.
  • Ability to climb and descend stairs.
  • Ability to interact with many types of personalities. This factor may contribute to a stressful
  • Ability to work for extended periods of time in an office.
  • Ability to stand up and sit down repeatedly.

This job includes working in a professional office environment. This position requires the employee to work in a typical office setting, using a computer, telephone, cell phone and programming equipment throughout the day. On occasions, this position may require participation in after-hours events.

Position Type


  • Serve as a back-up when the Program Director is unavailable.
  • Operation of various broadcast control boards.
  • Assisting in programming and scheduling shows and live events.
  • Occasional co-hosting of shows as needed.
  • Commercial production.
  • Creative input & production tasks for promos, and features.
  • Conducting & recording of interviews.
  • Creation and editing of local news actualities.
  • Assisting in identifying & uploading suitable content for websites & social media accounts.
  • Contributing as talent for various digital and broadcast content pieces and shows.
  • Travel to and from various events as needed.
  • Special projects and assignments as business dictates.
  • Research and show prep.
  • Other programming and on-air duties as needed.
