Role Description

This position is a critical and evolving role within the company, requiring strong multi-tasking, attention to detail, and creative problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate will work well under pressure, communicate effectively, follow instructions in a timely manner, and anticipate business needs. This fast-paced environment requires enthusiasm, organization, and professionalism.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Greet and direct visitors while maintaining company protocols.
  • Answer the main phone line, route calls, and take messages.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the lobby, conference rooms, storage closets, and common areas.
  • Coordinate office shipping and receiving via FedEx, local mail, and postage equipment.
  • Maintain office efficiency by ensuring supplies are stocked.
  • Assist the General Manager with payroll reminders and information gathering.
  • Organize and file general business documents as needed.
  • Assist in preparing for the annual audit and gathering necessary information.
  • Manage monthly invoice processing.
  • Perform various clerical tasks and special projects as assigned.
  • Organize and execute all station events.
  • Represent the station and ensure company protocols are followed at local events.
  • Provide backup support to the Traffic department as needed.
  • Handle daily deposits.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Personal transportation to and from the work location.
  • Minimum of two years of professional office experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Strong computer and keyboarding skills.
  • Basic knowledge of standard accounting principles.
  • Highly accountable with excellent follow-through on tasks.
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to shifting priorities.
  • Willingness to support a diverse and fast-paced work environment.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Punctual with a positive attitude and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage workload stress effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Notary Public License (preferred but not required, training available).
  • Previous radio experience (preferred but not required).

Education Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED (required).

Pay:

$16.00 – $18.00 per hour

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to remain seated for extended periods.
  • Ability to drive company vehicles to event locations.
  • Occasional lifting of up to 25 lbs.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, climb stairs, and kneel.
  • Frequent interaction with a variety of personalities, which may contribute to a stressful work environment.
  • Ability to use hands for typing, handling documents, and reaching.
  • Strong vision requirements (close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment).

Work Environment:

  • Primarily an office-based position in a professional environment.
  • Use of office equipment such as copiers, fax machines, computers, and phones.
  • Occasional participation in after-hours events may be required.

Position Type & Expected Hours of Work:

  • Monday – Friday, 10 AM – 2 PM.
